His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has approved the launch of the Health, Endurance, Longevity, and Medicine (HELM) cluster. This initiative aims to enhance medical innovation, advance pharmaceutical manufacturing, and promote developments in biotechnology within the region.

The HELM cluster is designed to position Abu Dhabi as a global hub for health and wellness. It will focus on fostering collaborations between various stakeholders, including government entities, private sector companies, and academic institutions, to drive research and innovation in these critical fields.
Officials noted that the establishment of the HELM cluster aligns with the Emirate’s broader vision for economic diversification and sustainability. By investing in the health and biotechnology sectors, Abu Dhabi seeks to create a robust ecosystem that supports both local and international companies, thereby enhancing the overall healthcare landscape.
