Abu Dhabi is gearing up to host the Abu Dhabi Global Health Week 2025 from April 15 to 17, which will bring together prominent leaders from the health and well-being sectors for an exclusive exchange of ideas and collaborative action. The event will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

This year’s event is expected to attract over 200 speakers, including government officials, business leaders, policymakers, researchers, investors, and healthcare innovators. These participants will engage in high-level discussions to share insights and address significant challenges that will shape the future of health.

Dr. Noura Al Ghaithi, undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, expressed excitement about the event, stating that it would welcome esteemed business leaders and institutions to foster meaningful dialogue and collaborative efforts. She highlighted that Abu Dhabi’s advanced infrastructure, diverse population, and substantial investments in life sciences position it uniquely to lead in precision health, accelerate innovation, and promote a healthier future. By bringing together government, industry, and academia, the event aims to create an environment conducive to transformative ideas and global solutions in healthcare.

The Abu Dhabi Global Health Week 2025 anticipates more than 15 000 visitors, 1 900 delegates, 200 speakers, and 150 exhibitors from 90 countries, all focused on facilitating knowledge exchange and forging strategic partnerships that advance global health.

The Forum@ADGHW will serve as a pivotal platform, uniting leaders from various sectors to address urgent healthcare challenges. Additionally, the StartUp Zone will act as a collaborative hub, allowing startups to pitch innovative ideas to potential investors. Winners of the Smart Health Hackathon will be announced during the event, alongside those receiving the prestigious ADGHW Innovation Awards for their contributions to fostering a culture of excellence in health innovation.

ADGHW is a significant initiative by the Department of Health and Abu Dhabi, themed “Towards Longevity: Redefining Health and Wellbeing.” With advancements in diagnostics, AI-driven treatments, and genomic research, Abu Dhabi is emerging as a leader in precision health, focusing on effective, targeted interventions that enhance lifespan and quality of life.
