Abu Dhabi is set to welcome global business leaders, policymakers, researchers, investors, and healthcare innovators for the Abu Dhabi Global Health Week (ADGHW) 2025, taking place from April 15 to 17. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the event aims to redefine health and well-being through high-level dialogue and collaboration.

The event will feature over 200 speakers, including officials and innovators from various sectors, who will discuss pressing challenges in health. Notable speakers include Anil Soni, Chief Executive Officer of the WHO Foundation, Dr. Jean Kaseya, Director General of the Africa Center for Diseases Control, Dr. Nir Barzilai from the Institute for Aging Research, and several health ministers from countries such as Bahrain, Egypt, and Nepal.
H.E. Dr. Noura Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), expressed excitement about the event, noting that Abu Dhabi’s advanced infrastructure and investments in life sciences position the emirate as a leader in precision health and innovation. She emphasized that the gathering will create an environment conducive to transformative ideas and global solutions in healthcare.
ADGHW 2025 expects to attract over 15,000 visitors, including 1,900 delegates, 200 speakers, and 150 exhibitors from 90 countries. A central feature of the event is the Forum@ADGHW, which will unite leaders from various sectors to address critical healthcare issues. The StartUp Zone will provide a platform for startups to present their innovative concepts to investors, alongside the announcement of winners from the Smart Health Hackathon and the ADGHW Innovation Awards.
The initiative is part of a broader government effort by the DoH, focusing on community-driven health and well-being. The event will emphasize four key themes: Longevity and Precision Health; Health System Resilience & Sustainability; Digital Health & AI; and Investment in Life Sciences. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, ADGHW aims to catalyze healthcare transformation.
