According to Gulf News, the updated system is designed to streamline hiring by providing a more efficient and user-friendly platform. Employers can initiate a work permit request by selecting a bundled service package, which encompasses the job offer, employment contract, and initial approval for the work permit.

MoHRE stated that the verification of documents is now enhanced by artificial intelligence tools. Employers are required to input key information, including salary, working hours, and location, and to upload relevant documents.

As reported by Gulf News, if an application is submitted through business centers, the applicant’s data will be verified using an ID card reader; this step is not necessary for submissions made through the app.

After entering all necessary information and uploading attachments, the employer can review the application and proceed to the payment step. Once the payment is completed, the application is officially submitted.
