During an official visit to Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait, witnessed the signing of several agreements and memorandums of understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries. This event took place at the Bayan Palace.

The agreements signed are intended to enhance bilateral collaboration across various fields and establish effective partnerships that serve the mutual interests and developmental priorities of both nations. Among the agreements were a memorandum for cooperation in the health sector, signed by UAE Minister of Health and Prevention Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais and Kuwaiti Minister of Health Dr. Ahmad Abdul Wahab Al Awadi.
Other significant agreements included a memorandum between the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy and the Kuwait Diplomatic Institute, signed by UAE Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar and Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Yahya. Additionally, a memorandum concerning land transport and road assets was signed by UAE Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Mohamed Faris Al Mazrouei and Kuwaiti Minister of Public Works Dr. Nourah Mohammed Al Meshan.
Other agreements focused on social affairs, education, oil and gas, and advanced technology, highlighting a broad commitment to cooperation. For instance, the memorandum on combating human trafficking was signed by UAE Minister of Justice Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi and Kuwaiti Minister of Justice Nasser Youssef Al Samit.
The signing ceremony also included a memorandum in the field of electricity and water, between UAE Minister Suhail Al Mazrouei and Kuwaiti Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy Dr. Sabeel Abdulaziz Al Mukhaizem. Moreover, a memorandum to encourage direct investment was signed by UAE Minister of Investment Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi and Sheikh Dr. Mishal Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority.
In addition, a partnership agreement for artificial intelligence infrastructure was previously signed involving “MGX,” “BlackRock,” “Global Infrastructure Partners,” and “Microsoft,” now including the Kuwait Public Investment Authority. A contract was also signed between the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense and the UAE’s EDGE Group for the purchase and delivery of several “Falaj 3” missile boats.
