The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) number 2012502259, seeking proposals for rechargeable batteries. The specific requirement is for Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) batteries that are compatible with Brother label machines, with specifications including a voltage of 7.2V DC and a capacity of 1850mAh.

Interested suppliers must submit their quotations by the closing date of May 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM. The delivery location for the batteries is designated as 0051 – Centr Stroe (TRN). All prices must be quoted in local currency, U.A.E. Dirhams, and should include delivery duty paid at DEWA stores.
DEWA has outlined several standard terms and conditions for the RFQ. These include a payment term of ’30 days credit’ from the date of material acceptance and a stipulation that no DEWA staff or their relatives up to the third degree should have ownership or partnership in participating companies. Furthermore, DEWA emphasizes that the products or services offered should align with its Energy Management Policy and EnMS Manual, promoting energy efficiency and environmental friendliness.
