His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved significant amendments to the job grade structure within the Sharjah Government. These changes include the introduction of new job grades along with adjustments to the service duration in each grade.

The amendments feature the addition of two new grades, designated as Special A and Special B, specifically for citizens, as well as a special grade tailored for engineers. Each of these grades will now have a service duration set at four years.

These updates are indicative of the Ruler’s commitment to ensuring a dignified life for government employees. They are aimed at recognizing the employees’ contributions, motivating them to enhance their performance, and fostering a distinguished and supportive work environment.
