The United Arab Emirates took part in the second G20 Sherpa meeting, which was held virtually from April 3 to April 4. Ahmed Al Sayeg, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, represented the UAE alongside Mahash Al Hameeli, the UAE Ambassador to South Africa.

This meeting is a continuation of the UAE’s engagement in global discussions, reflecting its commitment to international cooperation. The Sherpa meetings serve as crucial platforms for G20 member countries to align on various socio-economic issues and prepare for the upcoming G20 summit.
