Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has released the working hours for all its services during the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holiday, which is set to take place from Saturday, March 29, to Tuesday, April 2. Regular operations will resume on Wednesday, April 3.

The services impacted by this announcement include Customer Happiness Centres, paid parking zones, public buses, the Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transport, and vehicle testing centres. Notably, vehicle testing centres will be closed from 1 to 3 Shawwal, with normal operations resuming on 4 Shawwal. Additionally, Customer Happiness Centres will also close during this period; however, Smart Customer Happiness Centres located in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Kifaf, and RTA Headquarters will maintain their usual 24/7 operations.
For the Dubai Metro, the Red and Green Line stations will operate on a modified schedule. On Saturday, March 29, the Metro will run from 5:00 am to 1:00 am the following day. On Sunday, March 30, the hours will be from 8:00 am to 1:00 am the next day, and from Monday to Wednesday, March 31 to April 2, it will again operate from 5:00 am to 1:00 am the next day.
Meanwhile, the Dubai Tram will operate from Saturday to Monday, March 29 to 31, from 6:00 am to 1:00 am the next day. On Sunday, March 30, services will begin at 9:00 am and continue until 1:00 am the following day.
For public buses, including the Hatta Bus and marine transport services such as the Water Taxi, Dubai Ferry, traditional Abra, and electric heritage Abra, updated service timings are available through the RTA’s official channels. It is important to note that Bus Route E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station will not operate from the afternoon of 28 Ramadan until 3 Shawwal. During this time, passengers can use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi. Additionally, Route E102 will be suspended during the same period.
During the Eid Al Fitr holiday, all public parking will be free, except for multi-level parking terminals. This complimentary parking will be in effect from 1 to 3 Shawwal, with regular paid parking fees resuming on 4 Shawwal.
