Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) convened for its regular meeting yesterday, led by H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The meeting took place at the Ruler’s Office and included the presence of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.
During the meeting, the council focused on Sharjah’s development plans, emphasizing the need for collaboration among various organizations and partners. This collaboration is aimed at achieving the emirate’s strategic goals, which include enhancing the quality of life for residents and ensuring social stability.
The council also reviewed governmental plans aimed at improving public services. Attention was given to optimizing processes, employing modern and effective techniques, and addressing the needs of beneficiaries and stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery.
In addition, the SEC discussed amendments proposed by the Sharjah Consultative Council. These amendments included updates to the law regulating police and security forces in the emirate, along with revisions to the 2021 human resources law applicable to military personnel within official entities.
The council resolved that these draft laws should be forwarded to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for final approval.
