The UAE’s Ministerial Development Council, led by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, convened at Qasr Al Watan to discuss updates on key national agendas and policies, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).
The meeting addressed several critical areas, including policies proposed by federal entities to enhance the technology and government services sectors. Discussions also focused on geospatial information and updates on initiatives related to foreign trade, exports, and digital transformation.
In alignment with federal laws, the Council approved regulatory decisions tied to legislative requirements. A proposal to form new councils and coordination committees was also reviewed.
The Council further evaluated the UAE’s participation in significant international events, such as the 2024 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, and the 2nd High-Level Ministerial Dialogue for Culture-Based Climate Action in Baku. Additionally, they discussed the outcomes of hosting various global conferences recently held in the UAE.
These discussions reflect the UAE’s continuous efforts to strengthen its government systems, drive its development goals, and foster global partnerships.
