Bank of Singapore is growing its team at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) with six senior hires, bringing expertise from leading global institutions.
The appointments include Zeena Abou Elnaja, who joins the investment advisory team from Julius Baer. A CFA-qualified professional, she previously worked with Standard Chartered in the Middle East.
Mehvish Ayub has been appointed as a senior specialist for managed solutions and alternatives. She previously led investment strategies for the Middle East and North Africa at State Street Global Advisors and has also worked at Morgan Stanley and Barings Asset Management.
Brandon Chee, with over 15 years of experience in Asia at banks like OCBC and CIMB, joins as a product specialist focusing on equity and structured products to enhance portfolio solutions.
Anish Mehta, who relocated from London, will serve as a product specialist on the foreign exchange advisory desk. Mehta has more than 15 years of experience in FX, commodities, and derivatives and was most recently with Rabobank in London.
Yasmine Omari will lead wealth planning at the Dubai hub. Previously a senior manager at Ernst & Young, she has advised ultra-high-net-worth families in the region and has also worked at PwC and Deloitte.
Lastly, Fatima Al Zadjali joins as director of marketing and communications. She comes from Habib Bank AG Zurich’s private banking division and has held roles at Standard Chartered and Mashreq Bank.
These key hires underscore Bank of Singapore’s commitment to strengthening its DIFC presence. The branch is led by Ranjit Khanna, head of private banking for Europe and the Middle East.
