The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has announced the launch of the Future Sustainability Forum, a global platform designed to accelerate sustainable finance and innovation. This significant event is scheduled to take place on December 4 and 5, 2024, at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai. The forum aims to foster collaboration among industry leaders, investors, policymakers, and technology innovators to effectively address pressing environmental challenges.

The Future Sustainability Forum will focus on eight core pillars, which include sustainable banking and finance, renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, and green technology. The initiative seeks to facilitate investment flows between the global north and south, aligning with the UAE’s Year of Sustainability and its objectives for the upcoming COP28 conference.

This initiative highlights the DIFC’s commitment to sustainability and its role in promoting environmentally responsible practices within the financial sector.
