Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has integrated Tabby, an instalment payment platform, across all its digital channels, allowing customers to pay traffic fees, fines, and other services in up to four instalments. This initiative is now available on the RTA website, the RTA app, and the nol Pay app.

Previously, RTA had partnered with Tabby to offer these payment options through smart kiosks, enhancing accessibility for users. With Tabby’s services, customers can now manage payments for 170 different services, including vehicle and driving licence renewals, along with traffic fines. Additionally, flexible payment solutions will be accessible for purchasing vehicle number plates.
This move supports Dubai’s Cashless Strategy and aligns with the leadership’s vision of a fully digital and smart government. The RTA stated that this initiative not only improves the payment experience for customers but also aims to boost public revenue collection for the Government of Dubai by increasing digital adoption and enhancing overall customer satisfaction. Tabby is already utilized by over 40,000 global brands and small businesses across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait to facilitate flexible payment options.
