Dubai AI Week, taking place from April 21 to April 25, 2025, will welcome industry leaders, experts, and officials from over 100 countries. The event is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence. The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has announced a comprehensive agenda featuring over 150 sessions and workshops, with more than 180 speakers expected to share their insights.

Organized by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, the inaugural Dubai AI Week aims to foster international collaboration and highlight the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in transforming government services, driving economic growth, and building future-ready societies. His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the DFF, stated that this event represents a significant milestone in the UAE’s mission to lead in the AI sector.
The event will feature nine AI-driven activities across Dubai, including high-level summits, exhibitions, hackathons, and global competitions. Expected to attract over 10 000 participants, Dubai AI Week will host over 180 speakers and 140 activations. Notably, more than 25 global tech companies, including Google, Microsoft, and IBM, will participate, along with over 15 country delegations showcasing their latest AI innovations.
Collaboration between public and private sectors is a key focus of Dubai AI Week, as highlighted by Al Gergawi. He noted that the event offers a unique opportunity to strengthen partnerships and explore AI’s potential for economic growth and social advancement. The week will also feature national pavilions from various countries, facilitating the exchange of expertise and talent.
Key events during Dubai AI Week include the AI Retreat, the Dubai Assembly for AI, and the Global Prompt Engineering Championship. The AI Retreat will be an exclusive gathering of over 100 leaders and experts discussing AI challenges and opportunities. Meanwhile, the Global Prompt Engineering Championship will see 24 finalists competing for AED1 million in prizes across multiple categories, showcasing their creativity and skills in prompt engineering.
The Dubai AI Festival will take place at Madinat Jumeirah, bringing together 8 000 industry experts, 500 investors, and 100 exhibitors for networking and collaboration opportunities. Additionally, the HIMSS Executive Summit will explore the potential of generative AI in healthcare, while the AI Week in Schools initiative seeks to introduce students to AI concepts and applications.
