IFZA Partners with Smart City Council at AIM Congress 2025

The International Free Zone Authority (IFZA) participated in the 14th edition of the AIM Congress, which took place from April 7-9 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). This participation was in collaboration with the Smart City Council (SCC), where IFZA showcased its services at a dedicated stand. The event highlighted Dubai’s ambition to become one of the top three smart cities globally.

The AIM Congress served as a platform for connecting with government stakeholders, investors, and industry leaders. It aimed to explore partnerships that foster innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable growth within the smart city sector. As a key player in Dubai’s dynamic free zone community, IFZA emphasized its role in promoting Dubai as a leader in innovation and business development.

During the event, more than 400 local, regional, and global partners supported AIM Congress, creating valuable networking and collaboration opportunities. IFZA took advantage of this international platform to further establish its position within the regional business ecosystem, particularly in the smart city sectors.

Holger Schlechter, Chief Financial Officer at IFZA, remarked that AIM Congress provides an invaluable opportunity for collaboration, innovation, and forward-thinking dialogue. Throughout the three-day event, IFZA representatives engaged in meetings, panel discussions, and networking events, reinforcing their dedication to supporting smart city initiatives in Dubai’s evolving landscape.
