The second edition of SaudiFood Manufacturing is scheduled to take place from April 13 to 15, 2025, at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre. This year’s event will feature over 550 leading global brands in the processing, packaging, and ingredients sectors. The exhibition aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s status as a regional leader in the food and beverage (F&B) industry, supported by His Excellency Bandar bin Ibrahim AlKhorayef, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), which is the strategic partner for the event.

As the first dedicated F&B manufacturing event in Saudi Arabia, SaudiFood Manufacturing will cover various aspects of the industry, including processing, packaging, ingredients, supply chain solutions, and automation. The exhibition seeks to promote a sustainable, resilient, and efficient future in food production within the Kingdom. Participating brands include major industry players such as Allagro, Al Wataniya, and Brenntag, along with country pavilions from France, the Netherlands, the UK, Turkiye, India, and several others.
The food sector in Saudi Arabia is currently valued at $55 billion, with food industry companies witnessing a growth of over 31% in recent years. The Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) has announced plans to localize 85% of the country’s food industry by 2030, emphasizing the strategic importance of the F&B manufacturing sector in the nation’s economy. Trixie LohMirmand, CEO of KAOUN International, noted that SaudiFood Manufacturing has become an essential platform for the industry, positioning it at the forefront of Saudi Arabia’s expanding food processing landscape.
The event will also host the Food Forward Summit, featuring more than 50 global experts and thought leaders who will share insights on pressing topics in the industry. Discussions will focus on how AI and innovative solutions can drive sustainable food practices and support Saudi Arabia’s food security goals. Keynote speaker Prof. Henrik von Scheel, recognized as a leading authority on strategy, will open the conference and address megatrends shaping the future of food manufacturing.
Prof. von Scheel stated that Saudi Arabia is on a fast track to becoming a significant food hub along the world’s largest trade routes. Other notable speakers include Dr. Maha Tahiri and Dominik Grabinski, who will explore topics like protein innovation and alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
