The AIM Congress 2025, now in its 14th edition, is set to showcase groundbreaking advancements in the mobility sector as part of the Future Cities portfolio. Scheduled from April 7 to 9, 2025, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the event will gather industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to discuss the future of advanced transportation.

A key highlight of this year’s congress is PAL-V, which will present the PAL-V Liberty, recognized as the world’s first FlyDrive vehicle. This innovative vehicle merges traditional driving with the ability to fly, offering a forward-looking perspective on mobility solutions. As urban transportation systems grapple with issues like traffic congestion and delays in intercity travel, Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) emerges as a transformative solution, promising enhanced efficiency and improved infrastructure globally.
In 2020, the PAL-V Liberty achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first FlyDrive vehicle to receive European road certification, enabling it to operate alongside traditional vehicles. After four years of successful operation on public roads, it has passed its first Periodic Technical Inspection (PTI), demonstrating its safety and reliability as both a road vehicle and an aircraft. Currently, PAL-V is completing its aviation certification with the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), paving the way for the initial deliveries to government agencies, businesses, and individual customers interested in this innovative mobility technology.
The United Arab Emirates has established itself as a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, making substantial investments in advanced air mobility and autonomous vehicles. This commitment underscores the UAE’s status as a hub for innovation in transportation. The PAL-V FlyDrive platform aligns with the UAE’s vision for the future by offering a scalable mobility solution that can seamlessly integrate into the country’s evolving transportation landscape.
Visitors to AIM Congress 2025 will have a unique chance to see the PAL-V Liberty up close and learn about its development journey. Attendees can engage with the PAL-V team, explore investment and partnership opportunities, and discuss how PAL-V’s solutions can be integrated into global transportation networks to create more efficient and flexible mobility systems.
The congress is expected to attract over 25 000 participants from 180 countries and will feature various activities, including workshops, forums, and the AIM Investment Awards. It aims to highlight key investment portfolios such as Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Startups and Unicorns, and the Digital Economy.
