Dubai will solidify its reputation as a leading hub for design and hospitality in the Middle East and Northern Africa when it hosts a series of influential trade shows this May. The events, INDEX, The Hotel Show, and WORKSPACE, organized by dmg events, will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 27 to 29. They are expected to attract over 30,000 industry visitors and provide a platform for buyers from across the MENA region to connect with some of the world’s most innovative brands.

With a combined heritage of over 30 years, these co-located shows will span 55,249 square meters and feature participants from more than 70 countries. They aim to unite the full spectrum of interior design, hospitality, and workspace innovation, making Dubai a vital destination for architects, designers, hoteliers, and industry leaders. Elaine O’Connell, the Senior VP of Design and Hospitality at dmg events, emphasized that Dubai’s transformation into a global design and hospitality hub is driven by visionary leadership, world-class infrastructure, and its strategic location.
The co-location of these shows will create a comprehensive ecosystem for professionals to source products, gain insights, and establish business connections. O’Connell noted that the events will showcase a carefully curated mix of established brands and emerging talent, embodying the energy and creativity that underline Dubai’s status as a leading design capital. INDEX will continue to serve as a flagship event for the MENA interior design and fit-out industry, bringing together thousands of professionals to explore innovative design solutions across various product sectors.
In addition, The Hotel Show will celebrate its 20th anniversary as the region’s largest hospitality trade event, connecting global suppliers with key buyers. The show will feature a diverse range of products, including hotel technology and wellness solutions, and will host three specialized conference tracks: HITEC, The Hospitality Leadership and F&B Forum, and The Engineering and Sustainability Summit, all aimed at addressing the industry’s future.
WORKSPACE, now in its 22nd edition, will focus on workspace design and technology, showcasing solutions that prioritize well-being and hybrid work environments. O’Connell concluded that the free-to-attend conferences endorsed by the globally recognized CPD Certification Service will provide attendees with access to expert knowledge and valuable learning opportunities, enhancing their professional development in an evolving market.
