This event took place at the eLearning Center at the University of Bahrain and celebrated significant contributors to the country’s ICT sector while emphasizing the importance of developing local talent to support Bahrain’s expanding digital economy. The award underscores stc Bahrain’s commitment to promoting youth empowerment and aligning with Bahrain’s digital transformation objectives as outlined in the Economic Vision 2030.

The company has significantly impacted the local workforce through initiatives such as the Jeel ICT Program, designed to improve both academic learning and industry requirements. This fully nationalized training initiative provides young Bahrainis with the necessary practical skills to spearhead the Kingdom’s technological growth. Additionally, stc Bahrain has attracted investments exceeding USD $130 million in the IT sector and anticipates a 35% increase in IT employment by 2027.

Eng.
