Under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Abu Dhabi University (ADU) held the 12th edition of the Undergraduate Research and Innovation Competition (URIC) on May 29, 2025, at its main campus in Abu Dhabi. This year, the event received over 650 submissions from 14 countries, reinforcing ADU’s position as a key hub for innovation and youth-led research in the region.

For the third consecutive year, the competition was sponsored by RTX, showcasing the company’s commitment to supporting STEM education and fostering innovation both in the UAE and beyond. The hybrid event featured outstanding undergraduate talent from around the globe, presenting research and creative solutions across 27 academic disciplines, which included engineering, business, education, law, and health sciences.
