The SAMAI initiative aims to equip one million Saudi men and women with essential skills in artificial intelligence (AI). This effort is part of the broader strategy to enhance national capabilities in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. Participants will receive training in data and AI technologies, exploring their applications and ethical considerations, along with practical experience in integrating AI into both business and everyday life.

Launched during the third Global AI Summit in Riyadh in September 2023, the SAMAI initiative is touted as the largest of its kind in the Kingdom. It seeks to empower a million Saudis to navigate an AI-driven world, fostering a future that enhances human potential. This initiative represents a crucial step in developing human capital in Saudi Arabia and reflects the leadership’s aspirations for the Kingdom to emerge as a global leader in technology and innovation.
