The University of Sharjah (UOS) recently hosted its inaugural TEDx event, titled “TEDx University of Sharjah,” with the theme “Fueling Curiosity, One Talk at a Time.” This event served as a dynamic platform for students to share their inspiring stories, groundbreaking ideas, and unique perspectives from a variety of fields.

Students from different colleges at UOS delivered engaging talks on a range of topics, including artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, economics, scientific research, graphic design, science, and physics. The event was organized by the Deanship of Women’s Student Affairs and was attended by Dr. Amina Al Marzouqi, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, along with deans, faculty members, and fellow students.
Dr. Amina Al Marzouqi expressed her pride in the University of Sharjah for obtaining the TEDx license and for successfully hosting the TEDx University of Sharjah event. She highlighted the University’s belief in the power of youth and its commitment to providing students with opportunities to share their impactful ideas and support their innovative projects. Additionally, she noted that such platforms encourage critical thinking and creativity, enabling students to contribute meaningfully to society.
