He underscored the importance of identifying joint development opportunities that can promote regional stability and mutual interests.

The Guinean ambassador expressed his country’s eagerness to encourage Guinean students to pursue higher education in Sharjah. He discussed the potential for establishing scholarship opportunities and proposed organizing visits to academic institutions in the emirate. These visits, which would be coordinated with DGR, aim to provide insights into Sharjah’s educational environment and offerings.

Additionally, the meeting touched on the possibility of collaborating with Air Arabia to establish direct flights between Sharjah and Guinea. Both parties recognized that such flights could significantly improve connectivity and enhance economic, commercial, and cultural relations. A follow-up meeting with relevant stakeholders will be arranged to further explore this initiative.

Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi remarked, “Sharjah is committed to strengthening its relations with African nations, guided by a development-oriented vision that recognises investment in education and culture as essential to building prosperous societies and fostering enduring ties.” He noted that engaging with the African continent is a strategic priority for Sharjah, emphasizing the essential role of cultural, educational, and economic partnerships in shaping a collaborative future.
