The program consists of a comprehensive three-stage training roadmap. It begins with foundational learning before moving on to an intensive two-day bootcamp. The final stage includes a two-week capstone project where educators work in small groups, guided by mentors, applying the Plan, Teach, Analyze, Adapt framework to real-world scenarios. This approach allows teachers to engage in peer-to-peer discussions via weekly virtual sessions on MS Teams, sharing insights to refine their use of AI tools in lesson planning and student assessment.

During the pilot phase, the first two cohorts from private and charter schools in Abu Dhabi completed the program, achieving a remarkable 97% Net Promoter Score. This high score indicates strong participant satisfaction and highlights the program’s effectiveness. The ‘AI for Teachers’ initiative aligns with ADEK’s mission to enhance educational standards and supports the UAE’s AI Strategy 2031, which seeks to establish the nation as a global leader in artificial intelligence across various sectors, including education.
