Viory, a video news agency focused on the Global South, has officially partnered with Abu Dhabi University (ADU) by signing a Memorandum of Understanding. This agreement aims to develop joint initiatives in academic programs and research, demonstrating both institutions’ dedication to innovation and educational excellence in the UAE and beyond.

The MoU was signed by Professor Ghassan Aouad, Chancellor of Abu Dhabi University, and Zulayho Siddikova, General Manager of Viory. The partnership will facilitate cooperation in areas including joint academic programs, research and development, student internships, and the organization of conferences, workshops, and seminars. Furthermore, both institutions will explore resource sharing and collaboration on community outreach projects.

This collaboration is part of Viory’s mission to strengthen regional ties and support the media and news industry throughout the Gulf. It follows similar agreements made with the University of Sharjah and TRENDS Research & Advisory. Professor Ghassan Aouad remarked that this partnership aligns with ADU’s goal to drive innovation in education, research, and industry engagement, creating new opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers.

Zulayho Siddikova highlighted the strategic importance of this collaboration, expressing excitement about bridging academia and industry. She noted that this partnership will enhance educational experiences and lead to impactful research and development projects.
