The winners of the Sharjah Excellence Leadership Award will be honored during a ceremony on the evening of Wednesday, July 2, at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre in Sharjah. This event is held under the gracious patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council.

In preparation for the ceremony, the Higher Organising Committee, led by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Abdulrahman bin Sultan, has been conducting regular meetings to ensure that all necessary arrangements are completed ahead of the announcement of the winners.

The evaluation phase of the award process has been completed, following field visits conducted in February and March. After receiving submissions in April, a total of 40 evaluators participated in assessing the entries to select the inaugural winners. The program aims to promote the values of sportsmanship, transparency, and professionalism, positioning Sharjah as a global leader in sports excellence. This initiative aligns with the Council’s strategy to enhance the performance of sports institutions throughout the emirate.

The ceremony will feature the recognition of winners across various categories, celebrating their achievements in promoting these important values.
