SALIK to Introduce Flexible Toll Tariffs Starting January 2025

Starting January 31, 2025, Dubai’s SALIK will implement a flexible toll tariff system across all its gates, aiming to enhance traffic flow in the city. The new system will bring changes to toll charges based on the time of day and will exclude the holy month of Ramadan.

Under this plan, toll fees will be waived daily from 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM. For weekdays, peak hours will see charges of AED 6, with morning hours from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and evening hours from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. During non-peak hours, the toll charge will drop to AED 4, applicable between 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

On Sundays, a flat rate of AED 4 will be applied throughout the day, except during free periods from 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM. However, specific holidays, events, and special occasions will not follow this Sunday rate.

This move is part of SALIK’s strategy to improve traffic management and ensure smoother movement for vehicles within Dubai.
