UAE Celebrates Major Achievements, Looks Ahead to 2025

The UAE has made remarkable strides over the past year, according to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Reflecting on these accomplishments, Sheikh Mohammed expressed pride in the nation’s progress and shared his optimistic outlook for 2025.

In a post on X, Sheikh Mohammed extended his wishes for continued prosperity, peace, and stability for the UAE and the world. He shared a video highlighting key achievements, including 140 agreements signed with 55 countries, AED 660 billion in non-oil GDP, and AED 2.3 trillion in foreign trade during the first half of the year.

The video also revealed that 200,000 new companies were established in the UAE, and the nation ranked fifth globally in artificial intelligence development, supported by forty local establishments focusing on AI advancement.

Sheikh Mohammed emphasized the UAE’s commitment to growth and innovation, stating, “We welcome 2025 with greater optimism, greater ambitions, and a greater determination to continue the journey of growth and prosperity.”
