According to Dubai Eye 1038, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber met with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, where he conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the UAE leadership to the government and people of Greece. Meetings also took place with Nikos Dendias, the Minister for National Defence, to discuss potential partnerships in advanced industries and defence-related technologies.
An announcement during the visit confirmed the two countries’ agreement to continue implementing the existing UAE-Greece double taxation agreement. This agreement reflects their shared commitment to fostering a stable investment climate and enhancing economic collaboration.
The visit included a strategic dialogue titled “Forging the Next Chapter of Economic Partnership,” which was attended by representatives from various UAE and Greek public and private sector entities. This session highlighted opportunities for collaboration across multiple sectors, including energy, renewable energy, industry, advanced technology, infrastructure, and data centers.
