Oman and the United Arab Emirates are enhancing their economic collaboration, as highlighted during the “Advantage Oman Forum 2025” held in Muscat.

He emphasized that these trade ties are crucial for both countries to achieve their development objectives, contributing to economic growth and fostering long-lasting partnerships between their business communities. During the forum, Dr. Al Zeyoudi noted that Oman remains the UAE’s second-largest trading partner in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), with non-oil trade reaching AED56.2 billion (approximately US$15.3 billion) in 2024. This marks a 9.8 percent increase compared to 2023 and a significant 32.4 percent rise since 2020.
Dr. Al Zeyoudi characterized the UAE-Oman relationship as a model for strategic partnerships aimed at mutual prosperity and sustainable development. He highlighted that their cooperation aligns with the aspirations of both nations’ populations, promoting development on both sides.
During his visit, Dr. Al Zeyoudi met with Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, along with several senior officials. They engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral ties between their countries. Furthermore, he held meetings with other ministers and officials to explore opportunities for cooperation in areas beneficial for both nations.
The “Advantage Oman Forum 2025,” organized by Oman’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, focused on the global investment environment, emerging sector trends, and the identification of new opportunities.
