President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Italian Minister of Defence Guido Crosetto on Wednesday, during the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) in Abu Dhabi. The two leaders discussed defence cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Italy, emphasizing the importance of IDEX as a major global platform for defence companies and institutions to present their innovations and explore the latest advancements in the defence sector.

The meeting featured several prominent attendees, including His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, and Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs. Additionally, Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE Ambassador to the United States, was present.

Earlier in the day, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed toured IDEX 2025, where he visited numerous stands and pavilions displaying advanced defence systems and technological solutions. Accompanying him on this tour were Sheikh Hamdan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, Advisor to the President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology, and Staff Lieutenant General Engineer Issa Saif Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces.
