In Abu Dhabi, the UAE-EU Parliamentary Friendship Group, led by Sarah Mohammed Falkinaz, met with Modesta Petrauskaitė, Head of the Lithuanian Group for Inter-Parliamentary Relations with the UAE, to discuss ways to strengthen ties.

During the meeting, Falkinaz highlighted the strong relationship between the UAE and Lithuania in various fields. She stressed the need to deepen parliamentary cooperation through ongoing dialogue, legislative expertise exchange, and coordinated efforts in international parliamentary forums.

Petrauskaitė echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of mutual visits and knowledge-sharing to enhance collaboration. She noted that such initiatives align with the strategic goals of both countries’ governments.

The meeting took place at the Federal National Council headquarters and focused on fostering long-term partnerships between the two nations.
