H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received Ken Okinawa, the newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to the UAE, at his palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City on January 20, 2025. The meeting marked the beginning of the Ambassador’s tenure, during which he was greeted warmly by the Ruler.

During the encounter, the Ruler expressed his well wishes for the Ambassador’s success in his role. He emphasized that the Ambassador’s efforts would be vital in fostering and enhancing the friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Japan across various sectors.

Ambassador Ken Okinawa expressed his heartfelt appreciation to H.H. Sheikh Saud for the hospitality extended to him. He praised the UAE’s regional and international standing, highlighting the significant sustainable development progress being achieved in Ras Al Khaimah.
