The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work has introduced the “Environment Heroes” competition aimed at children aged 7 to 12. This initiative encourages young participants to present creative ideas highlighting the importance of volunteering in environmental protection.

Participants must reside within the UAE and are required to submit a high-quality video suitable for social media platforms. It is important that the submitted work respects the intellectual property rights of the creator.

Entries must be sent to the email address info@sva.shj.ae no later than June 30, 2025. The final video submissions are due by July 31, 2025, with winners set to be announced in August 2025.

Judging will be based on several criteria, including the clarity of the environmental message, creativity in presentation and direction, the video’s social media appeal, and overall production quality including sound.
