Arab Media Summit 2025 to Shape Future of Media in the Region

Dubai Press Club has announced the complete agenda for the Arab Media Summit 2025, aiming to unite influential voices in journalism, digital content, and communication to define the future of media in the region. The summit is scheduled to take place from May 26 to May 28 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The event will feature over 300 speakers and attract more than 6 000 participants, including 175 main sessions and over 35 workshops. Delegates from 26 countries are expected to gather to exchange experiences, knowledge, and global best practices. Additionally, the summit will facilitate the signing of five Arab-international media agreements.

The three-day agenda begins with the Arab Youth Media Forum on May 26, which will include a ceremony to honor the winners of the Ibda’a – Arab Youth Media Award. On May 27, the Arab Media Forum will recognize the Media Personality of the Year and host the Arab Media Award. The summit will conclude on May 28 with the Arab Social Media Influencers Summit, coinciding with the presentation of the Arab Social Media Influencers Award.

Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, and President of the Dubai Press Club, stated that the Arab Media Summit 2025 strengthens Dubai’s position as the capital of Arab media and enhances its role as a leading venue for industry dialogue.

Al Marri also introduced the Film and Gaming Forum, which will run alongside the summit. She noted that the forum is a response to the growing significance of film and gaming as creative and economic drivers and highlights Dubai’s emergence as a key player in these sectors across the Arab world.

Another key feature of the summit will be the launch of the Arab Media Outlook 2025 report, a flagship initiative by the Dubai Press Club. This annual report will offer timely, data-driven insights into the trends shaping the region’s media industry, serving as an essential resource for policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, innovators, and professionals.

Dr. Maitha Buhumaid, Secretary General of the Arab Media Award and Vice Chairperson of the Organising Committee of the Arab Media Summit, emphasized that the event is designed to provide a comprehensive program that unites leading voices from the media industry and related sectors.

Ahmed bin Mohammed, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, remarked that the Arab Media Summit 2025 represents a new strategic milestone in Dubai’s vision to establish a dynamic Arab media landscape that can effectively respond to global shifts and create impactful content reflecting the region’s identity and future aspirations.
