ICOM Dubai 2025 Launches Grant Programme to Support MEASA Voices

The Organising Committee of ICOM Dubai 2025, in collaboration with ICOM UAE, has introduced a Grant Programme aimed at individuals from the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia (MEASA) region. This initiative underscores the committee’s dedication to fostering inclusion and accessibility in the lead-up to the 27th ICOM General Conference, which is set to take place this November in Dubai.

Applications for the Grant Programme can be submitted through the official ICOM Dubai 2025 website, with a deadline of 31 May 2025. This programme is designed to empower diverse voices and ensure that professionals from the MEASA region can contribute to the global dialogue surrounding museums.

Her Excellency Hala Badri, the Director General of Dubai Culture and Chairperson of the ICOM Dubai 2025 Organising Committee, emphasized the importance of this initiative. She stated that the Grant Programme reflects their belief in the necessity of diverse voices in shaping the future of museums. By inviting participation from various professionals across the MEASA region, the programme aims to foster different perspectives and collaboratively create cultural narratives for the future.
