Bybit, recognized as the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with Ghaf Labs, a Web3 advisory and consultancy firm based in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The two organizations have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at promoting cryptocurrency adoption, developing the ecosystem, and enhancing real-world applications across the MENA region.

This partnership focuses on a shared objective to transform the region into a global Web3 hub. It aims to facilitate innovation, support regulatory clarity, and encourage meaningful use cases that incorporate blockchain technology into daily life.
Ghaf Labs, which is supported by Ghaf Capital Partners, a private capital firm focused on blockchain, provides tailored advisory and incubation services to Web3 ventures throughout MENA. With its deep regional connections and understanding of regulatory landscapes, Ghaf Labs is instrumental in scaling blockchain projects in one of the fastest-growing digital economies globally.
Together, Bybit and Ghaf Labs plan to offer equity-free grants, startup support, and access to strategic resources for ventures working in blockchain, artificial intelligence, and sustainability—key sectors that are crucial for the region’s digital transformation.
Helen Liu, COO of Bybit, emphasized the partnership’s vision, stating, “Our partnership with Ghaf Labs is rooted in a shared vision for the MENA region—one where crypto isn’t just adopted, but lived.” She highlighted that their efforts will focus on creating tools and experiences that integrate cryptocurrency into everyday life.
The collaboration also includes the launch of educational initiatives to foster local Web3 talent. This will involve partnerships with universities, bootcamps, and developer hackathons aimed at empowering future blockchain innovators.
Moreover, both Bybit and Ghaf Labs will co-create educational content to enhance Web3 literacy in both Arabic and English-speaking communities across the region.
Feras Al Sadek, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Ghaf Labs, remarked that their partnership reflects a mutual commitment to advancing Web3 infrastructure and education in MENA. He stated, “Together, we aim to accelerate innovation and continue to position the UAE as a global hub for digital assets.”
In addition to development efforts, the partnership highlights the practical applications of cryptocurrency, such as through the Bybit Card. This product links digital assets with premium experiences, including exclusive access to services from partners like Grand Millennium Hotels in Dubai, showcasing how crypto can enhance travel and luxury spending.
The alliance will also enhance the regional event landscape by co-branding significant events like The Crypto Polo Cup and Crypto Fight Night, which combine luxury, sports, and Web3 culture to increase awareness and engagement.
With the MOU signed, Bybit and Ghaf Labs will collaboratively explore innovation funding, institutional integration, and blockchain applications across various sectors, including finance, hospitality, and education—contributing to a robust Web3 infrastructure in MENA.
This strategic partnership affirms the UAE’s reputation as a progressive jurisdiction and signifies Bybit’s long-term commitment to the region’s digital future.
