WEEX has officially opened its international office in Dubai’s central financial district, marking a significant step in its global strategy. The company joins other major exchanges like Bybit, OKX, and Bitget in establishing a physical presence in Dubai, which is recognized as the most dynamic crypto hub in the Middle East. The decision to expand into this region aligns with WEEX’s rapid growth in global markets, driven by its strong trading security, product liquidity, and user experience.

The new Dubai office now accommodates over 600 employees, positioning it as one of the largest cryptocurrency exchange operations in the region. Andrew Weiner, Vice President of WEEX, stated that the company plans to further expand its team in Dubai over the next one to two years, aiming to add between 30 to 50 new hires to better support local operations and service deployment. As WEEX continues to grow its user base and product offerings, the Dubai office will serve as a central hub for its global expansion efforts.

Founded in 2018, WEEX has served over 6.2 million users across more than 130 countries and regions. The platform boasts a daily trading volume exceeding $5 billion and supports over 1 700 trading pairs, which includes popular mainstream tokens as well as emerging ones. WEEX provides both spot and derivative trading options with leverage up to 400 times. The company has implemented a 1 000 BTC Protection Fund to safeguard users’ assets.
