Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) is preparing to participate in the fifth edition of Big 5 Construct Egypt, the largest construction industry event in the country. The expo will take place from June 17 to June 19, 2025, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in Cairo.

The exhibition aims to gather a diverse group of industry leaders from sectors such as building materials, construction tools, MEP services, HVAC-R systems, digital technologies, solar energy, interior finishes, and urban design. RAKEZ’s involvement reflects its dedication to encouraging international collaboration and investment across the region.
Ras Al Khaimah is increasingly recognized as a global center for infrastructure and real estate development. Major projects, including the USD 5 billion Wynn Resort and the Etihad Rail network, have attracted significant interest. Currently, the emirate is advancing over 1,000 active projects valued at more than USD 75 billion. Its strategic location, which offers seamless connectivity to regional and global trade routes through world-class ports, enhances its attractiveness for businesses in the construction supply chain.
By aligning with the shared focus of the UAE and Egypt on infrastructure, industrial growth, and entrepreneurship, RAKEZ offers Egyptian businesses a practical and well-supported platform to expand into the Gulf region and beyond.
Currently, RAKEZ hosts over 30 000 multinational and regional companies, including many international firms engaged in the construction sector. This presence underscores RAKEZ’s position as a regional hub for construction-related enterprises. Additionally, nearly 1 500 Egyptian entrepreneurs have set up their operations within RAKEZ, further strengthening the business ties between Egypt and the UAE.
At Big 5 Construct Egypt, RAKEZ will introduce a special UAE business set-up package aimed at exhibition attendees. Priced at USD 3,300, this offer includes a UAE residence visa and a wide range of benefits. These benefits comprise fast-tracked company registration, access to flexible and cost-efficient facilities such as coworking spaces, offices, warehouses, and development-ready land, as well as comprehensive administrative support through a unified digital platform. Investors will also have the option to choose multi-year packages that promote long-term business sustainability and provide access to key regional and global markets via Ras Al Khaimah’s strategic trade network.
Ramy Jallad, Group CEO of RAKEZ, stated that Ras Al Khaimah has become an appealing destination for global construction players due to significant infrastructure developments and investor-friendly policies. He expressed anticipation for engaging with innovative businesses at Big 5 Construct Egypt, emphasizing the commitment to fostering collaboration and supporting the next generation of construction leaders entering the UAE market.
