The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has initiated discussions with the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Dubai to explore ways to improve economic cooperation and enhance trade and investment relations between the two countries.

This meeting took place during an official visit by Almaz Tasbolat, the Consul General of Kazakhstan in Dubai, to the Sharjah Chamber’s headquarters. He was welcomed by Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI. The meeting also included Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business Sector at SCCI, and Dr. Fatima Khalifa Al Muqarrab, Director of the International Relations Department at SCCI, along with other officials from both sides.
During the discussions, the two parties focused on ongoing cooperation between Sharjah and Kazakhstan, particularly strategies to strengthen economic ties through the exchange of trade delegations and coordination of sector-specific exhibitions and events. These collaborative efforts are intended to facilitate access to investment opportunities for companies and investors in both markets.
Priority sectors identified for potential collaboration included real estate, which was highlighted as having significant opportunities. H.E Abdallah Sultan Al Owais emphasized the Sharjah Chamber’s commitment to promoting trade and investment relations with Kazakhstan. He also stressed the importance of providing high-quality services that support Kazakh enterprises operating in Sharjah.
Al Owais encouraged Kazakh companies to take advantage of the emirate’s investment landscape, noting its pro-business regulatory environment, robust infrastructure, and strategic geographic location as key factors driving sustainable growth.
