To achieve its goals, the UAE is rolling out a series of advanced national projects designed to improve the accuracy, reliability, and global recognition of its measurement systems. Official data indicates that these initiatives include the establishment of high-tech laboratories across various strategic sectors of the economy.

Among the key projects is the Mass, Volume and Flow Laboratory, which supports industrial and commercial measurement systems. Additionally, the Electricity, Time and Frequency Laboratory aims to ensure precision in measurements pertinent to the energy, telecommunications, and defense sectors. There is also a Length and Angles Laboratory that serves the construction and precision engineering industries.

Further development includes laboratories for thermal and humidity measurements, which will support environmental and industrial applications. A force, pressure, and torque laboratory is also in the works to ensure measurement accuracy in critical areas such as infrastructure and oil and gas operations.
