UAE and US Accelerate $1.4 Trillion Partnership Ahead of Presidential Visit

Ambassador Yousef Al Otaiba, the UAE Ambassador to the US, announced that the UAE is eager to host President Trump in Abu Dhabi this Thursday. He emphasized that the UAE and the US will be fast-tracking their $1.4 trillion strategic technology and investment partnership, with several announcements expected to be made.

In a post on “X,” Al Otaiba stated that increased deals would lead to job creation and economic growth in both the US and the UAE. The UAE has a long history of successful trade and investment, and its $1.4 trillion economic relationship with the US is anticipated to expand further. This partnership includes direct investments in US companies and substantial purchases across critical sectors such as aerospace, energy, manufacturing, technology, life sciences, and healthcare.

This mutually beneficial alliance impacts all 50 US states and supports sectors that are generating jobs and fostering innovation in America. The UAE is recognized as one of the fastest-growing economic partners of the US. In 2024, the trade volume between the US and the UAE reached $34.4 billion, with US exports to the Emirates accounting for nearly $27 billion.

The UAE is collaborating with the Trump Administration to establish a landmark $1.4 trillion investment in the US over the coming decade. This investment aims to promote advancements in artificial intelligence, clean energy, and advanced manufacturing while creating new opportunities for American businesses and workers. This new initiative builds on the existing $1 trillion economic relationship, raising the total UAE investment in the US to $2.4 trillion over the next ten years.
