Majid Al Futtaim has announced plans to significantly expand its luxury retail presence in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in 2025, following a record-breaking 2024 that saw a 26 percent increase in revenue. This expansion reflects the company’s commitment to enhancing its portfolio of luxury brands in the region.

The new stores will feature well-known Italian brands, including Eleventy, Corneliani, and Poltrona Frau. Over 30 stores are set to open across key locations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with five standalone Eleventy stores planned, marking the brand’s expansion in the region. The first Poltrona Frau store outside the UAE will also be launched in Saudi Arabia, highlighting Majid Al Futtaim’s dedication to solidifying its position in the luxury retail market.
Fahed Ghanim, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle, emphasized the company’s goal of curating a selection of luxury brands that offer unique experiences to discerning customers. He noted that the introduction of these brands aims to bring new dimensions to the luxury market, blending timeless craftsmanship with contemporary sensibilities.
The five standalone Eleventy stores are scheduled to open in 2025 at prime locations, including Solitaire Mall in Saudi Arabia, Mall of the Emirates, and Marsa Al Arab. The brand is recognized for its sustainable practices and high-quality materials, aligning with a growing consumer preference for sophistication and quality.
Majid Al Futtaim is also set to enhance its partnership with Poltrona Frau, with plans to open a store at Centria Mall in Riyadh in May. The brand experienced significant growth in 2024, with revenue increasing fivefold after launching its second UAE store at Mall of the Emirates.
Additionally, Corneliani has made its regional debut with a new store at Solitaire Mall in Saudi Arabia. Founded in 1930, Corneliani is celebrated for its craftsmanship and operates in over 70 countries. This launch allows Majid Al Futtaim to introduce Corneliani’s luxury menswear to a wider audience in the region.
Ghanim acknowledged the importance of luxury brands and their market potential, stating that the partnership with these brands has been crucial in evolving the retail experience. He highlighted that the strategic growth of brands like Eleventy is a testament to the company’s focus on identifying and nurturing luxury brands.
Majid Al Futtaim’s expansion builds on the momentum from last year, which included the opening of 17 new stores across the region, bringing the total to 87. Looking ahead, the company plans to open 30 new stores in 2025, with seven of those located in Saudi Arabia—a vital market for Majid Al Futtaim’s operations.
