As a joint venture between ACWA Power, Air Products, and NEOM, NGHC is at the forefront of the energy transition in Saudi Arabia. The company is committed to reducing carbon emissions in difficult-to-decarbonize sectors, such as heavy industry and transportation. To achieve this, NGHC is focused on building a skilled Saudi workforce while also tapping into international expertise. It is working with local research and educational institutions to train Saudi youth for careers in the green hydrogen and renewable energy sectors.

Following the success of its 2024 recruitment campaign, which attracted over 9,000 registrations within the Kingdom, NGHC is expanding its search for professionals. The 2025 recruitment drive marks a strategic shift as the facility moves closer to operational readiness. The company aims to form a world-class team to ensure operational excellence in all key areas, particularly in Operations & Maintenance.

Wesam Alghamdi, CEO of NGHC, stated, “This marks a pivotal phase in NGHC’s development as we maintain our focus on attracting top talent to service this historic and one-of-a-kind operation.” He emphasized that professionals joining the O&M team will be instrumental in the green hydrogen revolution, with the facility set to produce 600 tonnes of carbon-free hydrogen daily when it becomes operational at the end of 2026. This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and supports the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative for economic diversification and sustainability.

The Virtual Career Fair will offer candidates direct access to NGHC’s talent acquisition team and hiring managers through live sessions and interactive discussions. Successful candidates will have the chance to play a vital role in the operations of the facility. Interested individuals can register for the Virtual Career Fair at nghc.vfairs.com, where they can learn about career opportunities within the O&M team and gain insights into the pioneering green hydrogen project.
