Vinsmera Group, a prominent global jewellery enterprise led by the Kambrath brothers—Dinesh, Anil, Manoj, and Krishnan Kambrath—has announced a investment of AED860 000 over the next two years. This investment aims to establish a premium jewellery retail chain and advanced manufacturing units in both the UAE and India, aligning with the group’s vision to innovate and enhance sustainability in jewellery retail.

The initial phase of this expansion in the UAE includes the opening of two flagship showrooms in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, along with one in Sharjah. In addition, the company plans to develop a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit in Sharjah, which will cater to both retail and wholesale markets, taking advantage of the UAE’s status as a global jewellery hub. The existing production facility in Sharjah is already one of the largest in the region, covering 50 000 square feet and implementing eco-friendly practices, including the use of hydrogen fuel, which underscores Vinsmera’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

Dinesh Kambrath, Co-Founder of Vinsmera Group, stated that the company aims to usher in a new era of excellence in jewellery retail and manufacturing. He emphasized that the UAE’s dynamic marketplace and discerning clientele play a crucial role in their global expansion strategy.

The investment is projected to create around 2 500 jobs across its retail and manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on empowering women in the jewellery sector. Currently, Vinsmera Group employs over 1 000 individuals, with women representing a significant portion of the workforce.

In a move to bolster its brand identity in the Middle East and beyond, Vinsmera has appointed Malayalam superstar Mohanlal as its brand ambassador. The company’s first retail store in India is set to open in Kozhikode, Kerala, by the end of April, featuring a spacious 10 000-square-foot showroom. This will be followed by another showroom opening on MG Road in Kochi, Kerala.
