Daikin Launches New Headquarters in Egypt for Enhanced Innovation and Growth

Daikin, a global leader in advanced air conditioning and refrigeration solutions, has officially inaugurated its new headquarters in New Cairo, Egypt. This upgraded facility is designed to enhance customer convenience and value, positioning Daikin to take advantage of growing business opportunities in the region.

According to Zawya, the new office is located in the Marakez District 5 and was inaugurated during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by key figures, including Mr. Hasan Onder, President of Daikin Türkiye, Middle East, and Africa; H.E. Mr. Fumio Iwai, Ambassador of Japan to Egypt; and Mr. Sherif Soliman, Managing Director of Daikin Egypt. Hasan Onder highlighted that the new head office will enable Daikin to better serve residential and commercial markets while meeting increasing demand for their products.

Mr. Sherif Soliman also expressed that the headquarters reflects the Japanese philosophy of “Kaizen” or continuous improvement. He emphasized that this facility symbolizes Daikin’s commitment to driving innovation in the HVAC-R industry and addressing the rising demand for energy-efficient air conditioning solutions in the region.

The new headquarters will feature a state-of-the-art showroom for live product demonstrations and a cutting-edge training center aimed at enhancing the skills of HVAC-R professionals. The facility’s strategic location, near major roads and business hubs, along with ample parking, will streamline operations for customers and partners. Additionally, a nearby free zone is expected to improve convenience for Daikin’s collaborators.

This milestone aligns with Daikin’s celebration of its 100th anniversary globally and marks a significant step in fostering a better work environment and enhanced team spirit. The company reported a record sales result of 4 395 billion yen (approximately 28 billion euros) for the fiscal year 2023, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to excellence in the HVAC-R sector.
