His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, held a meeting with Andrzej Duda, President of Poland, during the first day of the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2025. This significant event commenced on February 11 and will run until February 13 under the theme ‘Shaping Future Governments.’

The discussions between the two leaders concentrated on improving bilateral relations and fostering economic cooperation between the UAE and Poland. Both Sheikh Mohammed and President Duda viewed Poland’s involvement in WGS 2025 as an opportunity to enhance global government partnerships and encourage the sharing of expertise in government innovation.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid highlighted the importance of the World Governments Summit as a vital platform for promoting collaboration among nations in key sectors. He stated that the summit aims to create a better future for societies worldwide by facilitating the exchange of knowledge in government modernization and learning from successful international practices.
The UAE is dedicated to strengthening global partnerships through these initiatives, which aim to tackle emerging challenges while generating new opportunities for sustainable development and prosperity.
President Duda commended the UAE’s efforts in presenting global experiences and expertise through the WGS. He noted that the summit successfully gathers government leaders from around the world to share ideas and knowledge, affirming its role in promoting constructive international cooperation.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs; and Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation.
