Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) during the 10th edition of the Dubai International Project Management Forum (DIPMF) 2025. Under this agreement, PMI will serve as an Organising Partner for future editions of the forum, actively participating in its events and activities.
The partnership also includes promoting the forum at PMI conferences held across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Additionally, PMI will provide consultancy services regarding opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and other stakeholders in related fields.
The MoU was signed by Ali Lootah, who is the Director of Infrastructure & Urban Planning Affairs of the Executive Affairs Sector at RTA and the Deputy Chair of the Dubai International Project Management Forum Organising Committee. Pierre Le Manh, the President and CEO of PMI, was also present for the signing.
Ali Lootah expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating that they are pleased to sign this MoU with PMI, a long-standing strategic partner of the forum. He noted that this collaboration highlights PMI’s commitment to its critical role in the forum’s success and its significant contribution to attracting specialists, decision-makers, and senior officials in project management and sustainability.
Lootah further emphasized that the MoU aligns with RTA’s vision to enhance the forum’s agenda and ensures its ongoing success. He remarked that the agreement positions the forum as an essential platform for sharing knowledge and expertise, showcasing innovative solutions in project management and operations that adhere to international standards and best practices.
