Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2025 will take place from January 12 to 18 under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This global event aims to unite leaders from different sectors to accelerate sustainable development and drive economic growth. With the theme “The Nexus of Next. Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” the event will explore ways to fast-track the shift to a sustainable economy.

The week will focus on how advanced technologies like artificial intelligence, energy innovations, and human expertise can unlock an estimated $10 trillion economic transformation. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Chairman of Masdar, highlighted the role of ADSW in leveraging interconnected solutions to create a more prosperous future. He emphasized the importance of addressing key global trends like the growth of emerging markets, energy transformation, and AI’s rapid expansion.

Confirmed partners for ADSW 2025 include major organizations such as ADNOC, DEWA, Mubadala, Huawei, HSBC, and TotalEnergies. Over the years, ADSW has fostered collaboration through strategic partnerships and agreements that advance global sustainability efforts.

The event will feature a packed schedule, starting with the IRENA Assembly on January 12-13 and the Global Climate Finance Annual Meeting on January 13. The Opening Ceremony and the Zayed Sustainability Prize Awards Ceremony will be held on January 14. The ADSW Summit and Green Hydrogen Summit will bring global leaders together for discussions on innovation, investment opportunities, and partnerships.

Other highlights include the World Future Energy Summit, which will showcase cutting-edge technologies, and the Women in Sustainability, Environment and Renewable Energy (WiSER) Forum on January 15. Youth engagement remains a key focus, with the Youth 4 Sustainability (Y4S) Forum and Hub set to involve 3,500 young participants in programs promoting climate leadership.

The Zayed Sustainability Prize will also be a centerpiece of ADSW 2025, celebrating groundbreaking solutions that have already impacted 384 million lives globally. The event will conclude on January 17-18 with The Festival at Masdar City, offering an engaging finale to a week of impactful discussions and initiatives.
